UG Degree Programme
At the undergraduate level the department offers 4yrs B.Tech degree program in Mechanical Engineering as per the KTU curriculum. The programme provides a solid foundation in core mechanical engineering disciplines of thermal and fluids engineering - design engineering, and manufacturing engineering -, critical thinking and problem- solving skills. Through the academic program students also develop excellent written and oral communication skills, learn to work as a team and project management.
PG Degree Programme
At the graduate level the department offers 2yrs interdisciplinary MTech degree program in Energy Management. The objective of the programme is to equip engineers to assess, preserve and manage energy resources in industries and other organizations. The course focuses on efficient utilization of thermal and non-conventional energy by effective management and also to develop and propagate a culture of energy conservation among the students, engineers and industry.
